NZ Certificate in Nanny Education – Level 5
Hi I’m Christina. I live on Travis Country Drive in Burwood with my partner Tom and our Doberman Freddy.
I have my Level 5 certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care, incorporating Nanny Education. I have 6 years’ experience with young children in all types of learning environments. My caring, kind and friendly nature provides children the opportunity to gravitate toward me and feel at ease. I am very excited to be joining Organic Kids.
I have a passion for self-lead learning and believe that it is important that children feel safe, loved and listened to in order for them to explore their surroundings and create learning pathways. I also believe that children thrive when connecting with friends, their peers and other educators in their day-to-day lives. I will take the time to get to know your child and build strong connections not only with myself but the wider Organic Kids team. I am very excited to start utilising my community and skills to bring different learning experiences and opportunities to your children. We will be taking part in the weekly Organic Kids playgroup, local park visits, Travis Wetland exploration and anything else that enhances the learning of each child in my care and their interests. New Zealand Sign Language and Te Reo Maori are both languages I am excited to be incorporating into my daily routines.
In my home there is plenty of space to learn and explore both inside and outside. With 2 fish tanks to observe, space for free play on the grass or indoor floor space with lots of time to enjoy being themselves. Messy play, music, science and dance are also exciting parts of our week that I look forward to experiencing with the children.
I feel that open communication with both children and their families in my care is paramount to a successful ongoing relationship. I am looking forward to meeting you, working alongside you and supporting your child by providing them a fantastic, safe journey into school years.
