Hi, I’m Sonia and I have been with Organic kids since opening in February 2015. I live in Redwood with my husband, Jerry and two daughters Charlotte and Claudia who are both at school. Before I had children I had been a Nanny both here and in the UK for sixteen years which I really enjoyed. 

Since being with Organic Kids my passion for homebase care has continued to grow. I am excited to be able to offer a warm friendly home environment with small numbers. I have watched great friendships develop and I am now seeing younger siblings coming through as well. 

We attend monthly Organic kids outings as well as visiting our local spaces. We are lucky to back onto a reserve with a pond full of ducks that we can visit and feed. We have trips to Willowbank and other outings that fit with the children’s interests as well as attending Organic Kids forest Ed programmes to explore and connect with nature. 

At home we have a big outdoor space with a sandpit, swings, bikes and lots of movable loose parts for the children to create their own challenges with. Our backyard is also full with fruit trees, berries and vegetables that the children all enjoy helping themselves to.
