My name is Jasmine. I live in beautiful Pegasus with my son Blair (6) and Harrison (2). I am a fully qualified early childhood teacher with over 6 years teaching experience in early childhood, primary schools and as a home educator. I’m also a certified Rainbow Kids Yoga instructor, and love empowering children with yoga, mindfulness and breathing techniques.

I’m passionate about the power of secure attachment. With a strong, trusting relationship at the centre, I create a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe to explore, express themselves, and grow into their unique personalities. I’m skilled at supporting social competence and helping children form positive, meaningful connections with others.

Our warm, sun-filled home offers a seamless indoor/outdoor flow, a large deck and grassy backyard perfect for play, yoga and picnics. Favourite features include a sandpit, mud-kitchen and swing set, and the children help plant, care for and harvest from our vegetable garden. With plenty of uninterrupted outdoor time and proximity to the lake, reserves, and beach, we foster a lifelong love of nature. We also attend fortnightly forest-education sessions and occasionally music groups and Storytimes at the library.

My programme is driven by children’s natural curiosity: I observe their interests and invite play through music, dance, stories, science, art and physical activity. I provide open-ended resources to encourage imagination, independence and meaningful participation in everyday routines. Together, we co-create familiar rituals around settling in, meals and rest.

I’m playful and hands-on, you’ll find me in character voice during storytime, dancing with the children or getting delightfully messy in mud and gloop! A keen reader, I weave literacy into playful moments and believe in the power of respectful language to build emotional intelligence and a growth mindset.
